Aker Ink President Andrea Aker recently presented to a group of Arizona nonprofit executives about PR and media relations best practices.
Social Venture Partners, a network of philanthropists who take a venture capital approach to funding local nonprofits, hosts the Nonprofit Executive Forum each year to educate local executives on a myriad of topics, helping them achieve growth, streamline operations, increase donations and expand their presence. Andrea educated attendees on developing a framework for media relations, best practices in media outreach and tips to conduct a successful interview based on the medium.
Andrea is currently a partner in the Arizona chapter of Social Venture Partners, and she has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors starting in 2015.
