Annie Kyger
Marketing Account Executive
A strategic and creative leader, Account Executive Annie Kyger is responsible for the thoughtful conceptualization and execution of marketing campaigns that drive ROI for a variety of businesses. Her ability to problem solve, harness trends and consistently generate fresh ideas makes her an invaluable asset to the team.
With nearly 20 years of diverse experience, Annie draws on her background in digital audiences and journalism to inform decision making and drive content strategies. She holds certifications from HubSpot in Inbound Marketing, Content Marketing, SEO and Social Media. Additionally, she is certified in Google Ads Display and Ads Search.
Prior to joining Aker Ink, Annie held social media, content and SEO positions in the hospitality, event, retail, beauty and wellness, higher education and commercial real estate spaces. She spearheaded multifaceted campaigns that resonated with a wide range of consumers, each tailored to specific actions and goals.
A former blogger, Annie’s love for writing and journalism stretches back to her elementary school days, where she begged her mother to enroll her in summer school creative writing classes. She then created her own magazine for friends in middle school, served as editor of her school newspaper in high school and was a news staff columnist in college.
Annie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication and her Master of Science in Digital Audience Strategy from Arizona State University’s esteemed Walter Cronkite School of Journalism.
Since moving to Phoenix from Bend, Oregon in 2018, Annie enjoys exploring the best Arizona has to offer — especially with staycations, road trips and checking out the ever-growing food and drink scene in the Phoenix area. She also loves reading, cooking and spending time with her extended family, especially her nephew, two nieces and dog niece.

- Magazine Queen: Dismayed by the lack of magazines for tween girls at the time, Annie wrote and published her own magazine called Twelve for her friends during middle school, complete with quizzes and ads.
- Trivia Buff: With a wide knowledge of random facts, Annie enjoys attending trivia nights with friends. She even met one of her best friends at a pub trivia night in London!
