Samantha Barraza
Senior Copywriter
Infinitely curious and calculated, Senior Copywriter Samantha Barraza drives content development with concepts that cut through noise and speak with purpose. Weaving creativity with strategy, she shapes brand narratives that inspire action. She sees language as an extension of identity — a brand’s voice is just as personal as an individual’s. That’s why she makes every word count.
As Senior Copywriter, and formerly Copywriter, Samantha creates messaging that resonates across cultures, crafting content in both English and Spanish. She collaborates with both marketing and PR departments to ensure every piece of writing — from blogs, web, email and ad copy to long-term content strategy — upholds Aker Ink’s standards of excellence.
Prior to joining Aker Ink, Samantha led content strategy for high-performing campaigns at a boutique digital marketing agency in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was a driving force behind email marketing, web copy, blogs and brand messaging that helped clients in both B2B and B2C sectors increase engagement and boost revenue.
Samantha earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in creative writing from Arizona State University, but her love of language began early in life. Today, she uses that foundation to help businesses tell their stories, strengthen their voices and support their goals with click-worthy content.
When she’s not writing, Samantha is usually in the middle of a house project, buried in a book that’s probably messing with her head or exploring new video game worlds with friends. That same curiosity and love of storytelling fuel her work — always exploring new ways to connect, create and communicate.

- Book Dragon: Samantha is basically a dragon, but instead of gold, her cave is filled with books she guards like treasure. She definitely owns more than she’ll ever admit. As for the size of her to-be-read pile? That number stays between her and the bookshelf.
- Spanglish Master: Hailing from a small border town, Samantha takes great pride in the way her people seamlessly weave together English and Spanish in a single sentence, forming a beautiful hybrid tongue that is both practical and poetic
- Animal Enthusiast: From the tiniest green June beetle to the most massive whale shark, Samantha’s love for animals knows no bounds. She grew up glued to the Animal Planet channel, so don’t be surprised if an animal factoid sneaks its way into conversation.
