Known for her data-driven approach, Tatum Shacklett is responsible for executing all facets of organic and paid social media campaigns. Whether the overarching goal is brand awareness, thought leadership or sales conversion, Tatum brings a fresh, creative perspective that generates results – on brand and on budget. She expertly navigates the nuances of B2B and B2C strategy, making her a utility player not easily found within the social media industry.
In addition to social media content creation, promotion, competitive analysis and measurement, Tatum is a key player in overseeing social media influencer programs. She helps identify and build relationships with influencers, manages the program logistics and ensures the influencers are working towards a common goal.
Prior to Aker Ink, Tatum honed her skills as a Digital Marketing Specialist at Pinnacle Creative Studio in New York City and later through her own firm, Ardeaux Media. During this early stage in her career, her content development skills helped her grow social media accounts for multiple high-end malls. Additionally, she used the power of social media to help an e-commerce gaming company increase sales by 933%. She understands what it takes to meet the needs of a variety of audiences, and which platforms will best meet her clients’ long-term needs.
A graduate of Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Tatum also attended Spring Hill College in Mobile, Ala., where she played for the school’s Division II soccer team. Tatum speaks conversational Italian after spending a year abroad in Bologna, Italy. While there she assisted the Spring Hill College Italy Center as an international marketing intern and Social Media Specialist.
Tatum is a member of the Phoenix chapter of the American Marketing Association. She is certified in Advanced Google Analytics, Facebook Ads (HubSpot) and Inbound Marketing (HubSpot).
When she’s not assisting Aker Ink clients build their brands, Tatum enjoys running the many trails around Scottsdale or boating on local lakes with her family. She volunteers at St. Joseph the Worker and dotes on her cat, Candy, and dogs, Harvey and Goose.
