As a team that loves getting outside, some friendly competition and giving back to our community, we knew we had to get involved with St. Joseph the Worker’s annual Hike for the Homeless on March 27.
This event supports St. Joseph the Worker, an organization helping individuals experiencing poverty or homelessness find quality employment and self-sufficiency. For more than 30 years, St. Joseph the Worker has removed employment barriers for people, connected them to opportunity and empowered them for individual success. Explore the organization’s many success stories to find out how they’re transforming lives in Arizona.
We invite you to support this vital organization with a donation or you could even register your own team for the hike. The more people who register, the more funds are raised to help people find economic stability.
Not only have we already scouted out the best trails in town, but this activity supports our charitable pillar for soft skills development. Soft skills, such as teamwork, critical thinking and problem solving, are crucial for today’s workforce. St. Joseph the Worker is the largest 100% community-funded employment organization in Arizona. In 2020, the Hike for the Homeless helped put 2,412 people back to work.
