The resident problem solver, Director of Marketing Bri Grifo leads Aker Ink’s multifaceted marketing department, spearheading strategic planning, budget allocation and the execution of lead generation strategies. She guides a team of specialists to ensure each client’s digital footprint is thoughtful, targeted and tailored to business development goals.

Bri is an innate leader committed to professional and personal improvement. She has earned numerous respected designations to advance her expertise and strengthen data-driven decision making:

  • Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP) and Professional Certified Marketer (PCM®) through the Digital Marketing Institute and American Marketing Association (AMA)
  • Certification in AI Engine Optimization (AEO) through seoClarity
  • HubSpot certifications in Inbound Marketing, Email Marketing, Social Media Marketing and HubSpot Sales Software
  • Certifications in Advanced Google Analytics and Google Looker Studio

Bri has a proven track record of helping companies navigate and capitalize on opportunities across their websites, search engines, AI platforms, email systems and social media channels. She’s especially adept at using analytics as a problem-solving tool and implementing automated processes that drive more efficiencies and generate leads. Her multidisciplinary training strengthens this approach, allowing her to translate complex data into practical strategies that drive measurable growth.

Recognized for her contributions to the industry, Bri was named “Rising Star of the Year” by the Arizona Innovation Marketing Association (AZIMA) in 2022. She remains engaged in the local marketing community, previously serving on the AMA Board of Directors and lending her digital and project management expertise to industry leaders. She’s also an active member of AZIMA and the Communications Committee for the Phoenix chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF).

Integral to the Aker Ink team since 2019, Bri has advanced through roles including Account Coordinator, Marketing Specialist, Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Manager. Each position helped her hone analytics and strategic planning strengths, culminating in her promotion to Director of Marketing.

Bri earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a focus on Public Relations from Eastern Washington University in Spokane, Washington.

Outside of work, Bri is a competitive, All-American triathlete. She’s known for brainstorming some of her best ideas while on long bike rides.

  • Endurance Enthusiast: Bri is a competitive, All American triathlete. She has been a runner for much of her life, but the combination of swimming, biking and running is a thrill for her.
  • Facebook Fanatic: Bri was 11 years old when she created her first Facebook page to promote her hand-made jewelry. Her page was named “Bri’s Beads” and she even designed a logo.
  • Podcast Listener: Bri enjoys listening to podcasts, including “Harvard Business Review” and the popular “My Favorite Murder.” Despite being polar opposite shows, they both ignite her strategic thinking.
