Aker Ink’s resident wordsmith Hannah Pollard manages agency content creation, devising compelling copy that generates results while ensuring exceptional quality, creativity and strategy are upheld in all written communications teamwide. Having captivated English- and Spanish-speaking audiences alike, she believes powerful storytelling is at the root of any brand’s long-term success.
As Content Manager, and formerly Copywriter, Hannah oversees and executes cohesive content that’s tailored to diverse target audiences. She collaborates with both PR and marketing as a reliable team player — navigating the ins and outs of copywriting with empathy, tact, wit and a keen eye for grammar while supporting others in doing the same. Hannah is also professionally trained in UX writing, helping facilitate seamless navigation across all digital platforms.
Before joining Aker Ink, Hannah steered content direction behind multiple award-winning campaigns at a mid-sized marketing agency in Phoenix. There, she was a leading force behind everything from creative concepts, scripts and blogs to technical pieces, paid media and SEO.
Prior to this, Hannah served as the editor of a startup marketing agency in Lincoln, NE. There, she oversaw all written content and specialized in brand positioning, social media and more. Also proficient in long-form journalism, her feature stories have been published nationwide.
From the time she could hold a pen, Hannah knew she was born to write. She has since used her journalism and Spanish degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to fuel her passion as a content marketing professional, moving her fair share of clients to happy tears along the way.
When her fingers aren’t hitting the keyboard, you can find Hannah outside exploring nature or inside watching Netflix with her cat, Mac. For this ex-Midwesterner, Arizona’s sunshine, mountains and palm trees are her simple formula for happiness. She also enjoys whipping up home-cooked meals, religiously hitting the gym and playing her favorite tunes by ear on the piano.

- Globetrotter Alert: Although her time abroad was short-lived, Hannah has traveled to Paris, London, Amsterdam and Barcelona; and even spent a night in Oslo, Norway. The next dream destinations on her travel list are Italy, Greece, Australia and Thailand.
- Love at First Lake: Hannah met her now-husband in the most romantic of all settings: a pool bar in the Lake of the Ozarks, of course. The only problem? She lived in Lincoln, NE, and he lived in Saint Louis, MO. After a year and a half of toughing out long distance, they found a place in Phoenix they could both call home before tying the knot.
- Hungry, Hungry Hannah: The way to a word-lover’s heart is through her stomach. Indian, Greek, Thai and sushi are her current cultural cuisine fixations, but this foodie will never turn down a perfectly cooked medium-rare steak and loaded baked potato.
