As a testament to its reputation for excellence, Aker Ink walked away with two prestigious honors from the annual TIM Awards as the Arizona Innovation Marketing Association (AZIMA) recognized the state’s most strategic and creative digital marketers and their outstanding projects and accomplishments from the past year.

Marketing Manager Bri Gibson, CDMP, PCM, was named the Interactive Rising Star of the Year, which is awarded to an outstanding professional under 30 who exemplifies strong leadership and success. As Aker Ink’s resident problem solver, Bri offers expertise in project management, strategic planning and data-driven decision making. Responsible for devising and executing complex inbound marketing strategies, she ensures a company’s digital footprint is thoughtful, targeted and cohesive with short- and long-term business development goals.

Additionally, Aker Ink earned a Mastery award in the Nonprofit Website category for creating an optimized, engaging user experience for credit counseling agency Take Charge America. With an eye-catching design and strategic layout, the site enables the organization to seamlessly connect users with the right resources, tools and guidance to achieve financial literacy.

“Being recognized among the best of the best marketers in Arizona is an outstanding honor and underscores our commitment to delivering sophisticated marketing solutions that have strong measurable results,” said Aker Ink CEO Andrea Aker. “Bri is a central part of that equation. In just over three years, she has spread her wings and soared at the agency, becoming an indispensable leader and critical strategic partner to our clients.”

In addition to the TIM Awards, Aker Ink was recently named the Phoenix Public Relations Society of America Agency of the Year for the second straight year, and also took home three awards for PR excellence, including two in the Publicity/Promotion category and one in the Publications category during the Copper Anvil Awards in September.
