I’m sending our clients, partners and supporters a virtual toast this month – we’re celebrating 12 years in business! While our longevity and experience are clear, I feel like we’re just getting started at times. Every year – and even every day – uncovers new lessons and opportunities that shape an even brighter outlook for the years ahead.

Words can’t express how grateful I am for the Aker Ink team and an amazing roster of clients. We are consistently inspired to flex our creative muscles and seek out new solutions to often complex business development challenges. We welcome and thrive on these challenges, and with each passing year, we become bolder, more imaginative and eager to dive into the deep end.

Over time, I have learned that the most transformative ideas are born in the deep end. When many others shy away, we step up with confidence. We embrace a strategic approach to marketing and PR, acknowledging that collaboration, diligence and an unwavering vision are all central to what we do.

The past year has been marked with many high notes, some of which I’d like to share:

  • We grew. Content Specialist Taylor Renee Haynes and Account Coordinator Bri Gibson joined the team. Taylor Holmes continues to rise through the ranks as Account Executive. These women are an endless source of creativity and drive.
  • We gave back. The inaugural recipient of the Aker Ink Scholarship now has an extra cash cushion as she delves deeper into her studies at ASU’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism. On personal levels, we collectively gave our time, talent and money to charities supporting the environment, recreation, four-legged friends and food security.   
  • We’ve gone green. We continue to gain a foothold in the B2B cannabis space, helping manufacturing and professional service firms capture attention in this emerging market. We are continually pushed to stretch our creative limits – landing strategic media hits and speaking engagements, launching compelling social media campaigns and integrating marketing tactics to drive leads.    
  • We’ve been ranked. We are proud to be recognized by Ranking Arizona as one of the top boutique public relations firms in the state. The Phoenix Business Journal also recognized us among the largest social media marketing firms in the metro area.

 

The next chapter of Aker Ink has a new theme: expansion. In the traditional sense, we are hiring more creative and driven pros and welcoming new clients. In another sense, we are all committed to expanding our skills, mindsets and imaginations. We aim to transform bold ideas into practical initiatives that position our clients for growth and enable them to seize more opportunities.
