Prior to joining Aker Ink, Matt held PPC, SEO, social advertising, digital QA and account management roles with two digital agencies in the Phoenix area. Before that, the adventurous spirit spent five years in Busan, South Korea teaching English as a Foreign Language.
Raised in Bullhead City, AZ, Matt graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. Realizing he was not, in fact, the next Hunter S. Thompson, he found his professional purpose through travel and the digital world.
Whether writing, teaching a new language or devising a Google Ads campaign, Matt enjoys helping people get their stories out and using digital solutions to amplify those stories. Moreover, he’s yet to run into a problem that a good cup of coffee and spreadsheet can’t fix.
